Types of Industrial Facilities We Serve

Crown Paving supports industrial and manufacturing properties with asphalt, concrete, striping, drainage, and maintenance needs across the Southeast.

  • Manufacturing plants
  • Industrial parks and multi-tenant flex sites
  • Vehicle auction and fleet yards
  • Equipment and material storage yards
  • Processing and production facilities
  • Heavy equipment access roads and haul routes
  • Private industrial roadways

How Is This Different From Your Logistics Work?

They overlap and they are not the same scope. A logistics facility is built around movement: dock doors, trailer staging, and a truck route that has to stay open around the clock. A manufacturing or industrial site is built around what sits still on it, which means point loads from equipment, material storage, and process traffic that does not follow a dock schedule. If your property is mostly docks and trailers, start on the logistics page.

What Does an Industrial Yard Need That an Ordinary Lot Does Not?

Depth where the load is, and drainage that keeps up. Loaded trailers, forklifts and equipment concentrate weight in narrow paths, so drive lanes and staging areas need thicker base and binder and a rut-resistant mix, while dock aprons and equipment pads usually justify concrete. Water is the other half: a yard that ponds is a yard whose base is being undermined, which is drainage work rather than a surface problem.
