Asphalt Patch Repair at Wells Fargo, Bamberg SC

Completed asphalt patch at a Wells Fargo branch

A branch cannot close its drive-through to fix its pavement, and that constraint is what makes patching the right repair rather than resurfacing. Failed areas come out and go back one at a time, and the site stays open around the work.

The photographs show the completed repair blended into the surrounding surface. A patch that has been done properly disappears into the lot: the edges are cut square rather than tapered, the new material is compacted flush rather than left proud, and the joint is sealed so water cannot get in at the seam and undo the repair from below.

Branch lots are small and used hard at the same few points. The drive-through lane, the ATM approach and the entrance take almost all of the traffic, and they are where the surface fails first.
